Growing Flow of Visitors to Santiago de Cuba
Monday, November 23, 2015

Havana.- The province of Santiago de Cuba, in the eastern part of the island, recorded from January to date, an increase of 20 percent in the flow of tourists compared to 2014.

According to industry officials, this behavior responds to the growing interest in this destination from tourist-sending countries such as Canada, Germany and France.

In this regard, they specified that only Canada reported weekly flights from tour operators Hola Sun and Sunwing, from Toronto and Montreal, respectively.

For the current season, the province ordered new offers like Sports Bar Iris, Café Constantín and Dulcinea, besides the Rest Club and a traditional brewery.

Meanwhile, 17 hotels that provide services to international tourism were thoroughly prepared and newly opened Punta Gorda counts with 12 rooms.
