Cuban Players in Mexican Soccer Club |

Havana.- Four Cuban soccer players were invited to play the Mexican club Santos Laguna´s preseason, as they will join the team´s roster in early December.
This initiative benefits Maykel Reyes, Arichel Hernandez, Adrian Diz Pe and Sandy Sanchez, after a friendly match held in the island between the Cuban National Team and Santos Laguna.
The deal was agreed between the Mexican entity and the Cuban Soccer Federation as part of the island´s newly developed strategy for the development of this sport in the county.
Board members of the Mexican side indicated that they expect to turn this type of exchange in a usual habit, considering the positive impact it could have on regional level.
Cuba has already approved the hiring of their athletes in foreign leagues in sports like baseball and basketball, and the temporal trade of players with Santos Laguna could become a groundbreaking experience in this specific discipline.
