Cuban Actress Awarded Silver Shell at San Sebastian |

Havana.- Cuban actress Yordanka Ariosa was awarded the Silver Shell for Best Actress at the 63rd Film Festival in San Sebastian, Spain.
According to experts, the award acknowledged her performance in the role of Magda in the film "The King of Havana", by Agusti Villaronga.
In this regard, various media stressed that it is the first time an interpreter from Cuba wins such recognition.
"The King of Havana" is based on a novel by writer Pedro Juan Gutierrez and it is set in the crisis of the 1990s in Cuba.
According to critics, in the film Ariosa assumes the role of Magda, a prostitute who lives a story of love, sex and frustrations.
