More Panamanian Tourists Visit Cuba |

Havana.- More than 10,000 Panamanian tourists visited Cuba from January to date, a growing trend that will continue for the rest of the year.
According to sources from the tourist sector, that number accounts for a 12-percent increase in arrivals compared to the same period in 2014.
At the Tourist Fair of Panama, Cuban tourism authorities noted the attractions of the Caribbean island, including more than 300 natural beaches, ten sites declared Humankind's Heritage by the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and historic and cultural values.
At present, a broad investment program is underway to expand Cuba's hotel infrastructure, in addition to nearly 11,000 private houses for rent.
