Museum of Natural History among the Most Favorite for Cubans |

Havana.- The National Museum of Natural History of Cuba, in Old Havana, is among the most favorite cultural institutions among Cubans during the summer season.
Experts from that institution pointed out that in July and August, the museum reported more than 17,000 visitors, especially to attend children's activities.
The program consists of guided visits, summer courses, theater performances, scientific events and lectures, among other options.
It also included a contest on invasive exotic species in Cuba, and granting acknowledgements to the best participants in summer courses, institutions and collaborators.
The National Museum of Natural History was inaugurated in May 1964 in the Capitol of Havana with the purpose of collecting, researching, preserving and exhibiting natural objects.
