Increasing Number of Foreigners at Marabana 2015 |

Havana.- The presence of foreign runners at the 2015 edition of the traditional international marathon Marabana is increasing, as athletes from 42 countries have confirmed participation.
According to organizers, taking into account the current data, the number of foreign participants will exceed by 210 those registered last year.
They added that of the total number of countries, 15 are from the American continent, 20 from Europe and seven from Asia and Oceania.
Half marathon and marathon are the two modalities in which more runners have registered with 341 each, while the rest of participants registered in the ten-kilometer race.
A total of 3,800 runners, including 664 foreigners, competed in the marathon (42 kilometers) and half marathon (21 kilometers) races at Marabana 2014.
