Havana.- The Theater-Dance Company La Andariega, made up of children, adolescents and youths from eastern Camagüey province, is touring Switzerland.
The company will participate in the prestigious International Theater Spektakel Festival in Zurich, sponsored by the Swiss non-governmental organization Camaquito.
The program consists of performances in the cities of Winterthur and Neuhausen, in addition to others in the framework of the Theater Spektakel Festival.
La Andariega, founded and directed by Luis Orlando Antúnez, trains young talents to become professional artists.
In almost two decades, the company has created a dance and theater repertoire and has received several awards, including the Distinction for National Culture granted to its director.
