House of Ceramics in Eastern Cuba |

Havana.- The House of Ceramics was inaugurated recently in the city of Santiago de Cuba, the capital of the eastern province of the same name.
The facility will exhibit, produce and even commercialize clay artworks in different modalities, and will organize elementary courses on that subject.
The center will also allow artists from other provinces to exhibit their works, and visitors will have access to catalogs with information about local, national and foreign ceramists.
The House of Ceramics consists of three exhibition halls and a workshop that has potter's wheels and areas for modeling and enameling, and artistic and utilitarian ceramics.
The institution will contribute to consolidate ceramics as one of the manual works with artistic value, in addition to promoting the work of ceramists.
