Hotel Inglaterra, a Doyen of Cuban Hotels
Monday, July 27, 2015

Havana.- The Hotel Inglaterra, in Havana, has more than 100 years' experience providing services to foreign tourists, thus becoming the doyen of Cuban hotels.

In 2014, the hotel reported the best indicators of efficiency, revenues, utilities, productivity and energy saving, in addition to a reduction in costs.

The establishment, which is the oldest hotel in Cuba, provides personalized services in its halls, rooms and Seville-style inner patio.

Through history, his rooms have received renowned figures of Cuba's war of independence like Antonio Maceo, who was visited by Juan Gualberto Gómez, another Cuban patriot.

On April 4, 1879, Cuban National Hero José Martí gave his famous speech at a tribute to journalist Manuel Márquez Sterling at the Hotel Inglaterra.
