Havana.- The heart center in the eastern province of Santiago de Cuba, benefited from the installation of state-of-the-art technology to treat several cardiovascular diseases.
The institution offers the services of a modern digital angiograph of the latest generation that is used to treat structural cardiopathy.
Made by the German firm Siemens, the piece of equipment, which has a high technological level and advanced digital resources, will be tested and tuned up before starting up operations.
The equipment will allow doctors to make a precise diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases, particularly coronary problems.
This technology allows learning the level of obstruction of the coronary arteries, whether the patient suffers from multiple-artery diseases or whether the problem can be solved without surgery.
