Cienfuegos Produces Cigars for Export |

Havana.- The central Cuban province of Cienfuegos is exporting Havana cigars that are hand rolled in a factory built in the 1920s.
Company executives pointed out that in the first semester of 2015, the factory produced 590,000 cigars and sales exceeded the plan by 10 percent.
The factory produces ten vitolas, including nine that are exported by Habanos S.A.
They are Romeo y Julieta, Partagás, Montecristo, Hoyo de Monterrey and the factory's flag brand Quintero, named after the owner and founder of the establishment.
The factory is expected to produce 1.3 million cigars this year, including 70,000 units of a new Quintero vitola for which the raw materials are being acquired at present.
