Cuba-Nicaragua Baseball Games Are Being Organized
Monday, June 29, 2015

Havana.- The Cuban baseball team will play five games against the Nicaraguan team, as part of their training for the Pan-American Games in Toronto, Canada, in July.

The two first games will take place at Havana's Estadio Latinoamericano, and the three other games will be held in Pinar del Río, Artemisa and Mayabeque.

The Nicaraguan team is made up of Dwigth Britton, Renato Morales, Ronald Garth, Ofilio Castro, Juan Oviedo, Janior Montes, Edgar Montiel, Julio César Raudez and Iván Marín, among others.

Some of those players have participated in the two series of games between the two countries since 2010.

That year, the Cuban team won all games, while in 2012, in Nicaragua, the Cuban team, coached by Roger Machado, won three games and tied one.
