Cell Phone Services Grow in Cuba |

Havana.- Cell phone services in Cuba exceeded three million users in April, and the trend is to continue growing.
Executives from Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Cuba (ETECSA) said that the sector is expected to grow by 800,000 new lines a year between 2015 and 2018.
The executives added that until April this year, the plan had been fulfilled at 38 percent.
Cuba is developing the cell phone network, which already covers 74.3 percent of the national territory and benefits 83.6 percent of the population.
ETECSA informed that the expansion strategy consists of new investments and commercial actions to expand its services, including an increase in Internet halls nationwide.
