Havana.- The Havana Club Rum Museum, in Old Havana, has promoted the history of that alcoholic beverage over the past 15 years.
In a 45-minute tour, specialized guides explain to the visitors the origin and traditions of Cuba's rum industry and its links with other national products.
Experts explain the work of a miniature sugar factory and trains that carry sugarcane, as visitors listen to the characteristic sounds of the sugar mill and an imaginary furnace.
In addition, visitors learn about the process to make rum and taste Havana Club rum or refreshing alcoholic cocktails.
Experts from the Association of Bartenders of Cuba also teach visitors how to mix cocktails.
