Private Sector Supports Tourism in Camagüey |

Havana.- The eastern Cuban province of Camagüey has incorporated new lodging capacities for tourism as a result of the growth of the private sector.
According to experts, the potential has exceeded 1,700 rooms after the incorporation of a score of private inns in the province.
In addition, in the provincial capital, eight private restaurants are rendering their services to tourists through the travel agencies Cubatur, Cubanacan and Havanatur.
The state sector run 1,082 rooms at Santa Lucía Beach and four inns belonging to the Encanto hotel chain were inaugurated in the historic heart of the former Village of Santa María del Puerto del Principe.
Those actions respond to the importance of recovering and restoring buildings of great cultural and historic value in Camagüey to provide excellent services.
