Cuba's Tourism Sector Reports Good Results |

Havana.- Cuba's tourism industry has reported positive results, including 1,136,548 foreign vacationers during the first trimester of 2015.
According to the National Statistics and Information Office, that result accounts for a 14.2-percent increase compared to the same period in 2014.
Of the total number of foreign vacationers, 20,835 tourists came to Cuba from January to March, including 8,272 cruise travelers who represented an increase of 289.1 percent in contrast to the same three months last year.
Canada is Cuba's major tourist-sending market with 551,773 tourists, accounting for a rise of 48.5 percent, followed by Germany with 52,904 travelers and France with 44,319.
In 2014, Cuba broke the three million-tourist mark for the first time and that increasing trend is expected to remain this year.
