Nautical Options in Jardines del Rey
Monday, April 27, 2015

Havana.- Jardines del Rey, a fast-growing tourist destination in the eastern Cuban province of Ciego de Avila, is benefiting from investments to boost nautical options.

One of the options is the so-called glass tower, which consists of a circuit of ropes in three levels with a total height of 16 meters, 18 masts and 90 operations of different degrees of difficulties.

Another project is a cable car that will lead to a 530-meter-long waterskiing track.

In addition, during the International Fair on Tourism, kite surf will be officially launched as an extrahotel product being developed on Cayo Guillermo.

Jardines del Rey, which has 17 hotels totaling more than 6,000 rooms, received 400,000 foreign tourists last year.
