Financial Policy Benefits Cuban People
Monday, April 27, 2015

Havana.- The credit policy adopted by Cuban authorities establishes an increase in financing individuals to repair their homes.

According to statistics from the sector, since 2011, Banco Popular de Ahorro (BPA) has granted more than 1.8 billion pesos in credits to finance home improvements.

The resources are used to buy construction materials and pay for the labor force in charge of repairing homes.

Regulations establish that small farmers, land usufructuaries, self-employed workers and cooperative members can also benefit from bank's credits.

The bank offers those services in some 400 offices nationwide.
