Audiovisual Event in Eastern Cuba |

Havana.- The city of Gibara, in the eastern Cuban province of Holguín, is hosting an audiovisual event this month linked to the International Low Budget Film Festival.
According to experts, the exhibition paves the way for the next edition of the festival in April 2016, and will be complemented by sales of books on cinema.
It also includes bibliographic exhibitions and the screening of award-winning films from previous editions of the festival, among other activities.
Among the films to be shown are the documentaries "Humberto Solás Evocación", by Miguel Torres, and "Humberto, la Vida Es un Sueño", by Juan Ramírez.
Founded in 2003 by Cuban moviemaker Humberto Solás (1941-2008), the International Low Budget Film Festival is the ideal scenario to promote films with a high esthetic quality, good content and low budget.
