University Hospital in Matanzas Undergoes Remodeling Works |

Havana.- The works to remodel the Faustino Pérez Clinical-Surgical University Hospital, in the western Cuban province of Matanzas, will be completed in 2017.
According to experts, the project is part of a process of investments in the healthcare sector, where major resources have been allocated to a hospital that provides a wide range of medical services.
At present, works focus on replacing the hydraulic medicinal gas networks, 90 percent of which has been completed on the fourth floor.
By late 2015, the new hematology, geriatrics, intensive care, angiology, orthopedics and brain surgery wards will be completed.
Patients will have hot water in all bathrooms and the entire inpatient area will be remodeled and painted, including the ceilings and lamps.
