Cuban Wrestlers Finish Seventh at World Cup by Teams |

Havana.- Cuban freestyle wrestlers finished in the seventh place at the World Cup by Teams held in Los Angeles, the United States.
The Cuban team lost 2-6 to the United States and 3-5 to Mongolia, but equaled 4-4 against Russia in Pool A.
Later, they defeated Turkey 5-3 in the dispute for the seventh place with a total of 14 victories in 32 fights held during the tournament.
The best Cuban wrestlers individually were Yowlys Bonne (57 kg), who was undefeated in four fights, and Liván López (74) and Javier Cortina (97), with three wins and one defeat each.
By countries, Iran retained the crown, followed by the United States and Azerbaijan in the second and third places, while Belarus and Mongolia finished fifth and sixth, respectively.
