Cuban Experts Use Hypnosis to Treat Children |

Havana.- Medical experts in eastern Santiago de Cuba are using hypnosis to treat children, as part of achievements in the country's healthcare system.
In the case of children who are afraid of sleeping alone, hypnosis is used to induce an idea or a mood to another person.
The experts use the method of the magic wand, appealing to the imagination of children, who assumed that that instrument could help them overcome fear and they succeeded.
This procedure is effective in children, as they have a less rigid vision of reality, more capacity to play and their age allows them to develop fantasies.
According to experts, hypnosis can also be used to treat asthma, stammering, behavioral problems, phobias, anxiety and neuro-muscular diseases.
