LABIOFAM Works to Grow on Cuban Market |

Havana.- The Havana-based Grupo Empresarial de Laboratorios Biológicos Farmacéuticos (LABIOFAM) will increase its presence on the Cuban market, where it will build a plant to produce toilet and cleaning products.
The factory, located in central Cuba, will start up operations in the second trimester of 2015 and will increase the supply of those products to the region.
The plant will produce detergents for floors, toilets, clothes and dishes, gels and several types of cologne, which will be commercialized in the network of hard-currency shops.
It will supply those highly-demanded products to the provinces of Sancti Spíritus, Villa Clara, Cienfuegos and Ciego de Avila.
LABIOFAM is also known for its research works, including the homeopathic medication patented as Vidatox-30CH, which is used in the therapy against some kinds of cancer.
