Cuba's Natural Attraction for Tourists
Monday, March 2, 2015

Havana.- Gran Piedra, a natural attraction in eastern Santiago de Cuba province, is the focus of attention of cruise tourists.

According to sources from the sector, that site shares the tourists' preference with other places like the Castle of San Pedro de la Roca del Morro.

The 27-room motel and other facilities underwent remodeling works and are complemented by a 75,000-ton rock that characterizes the site.

The 55-meter-long and 25-meter-wide rock, which is 1,226 meters above sea level, welcomes visitors from Cuba and all over the world.

In addition, it is close to the coffee farm La Isabélica, which is part of the archeological landscape of that crop in the province.
