Cuba's Agriculture Benefits from Better Machinery |

Havana.- Cuba's agricultural sector has benefited from the exploitation of new Brazilian-made machinery to increase production and supply to the domestic market.
Brazil supplies the technology by virtue of a credit to finance Cuba's agriculture.
That way, eastern Las Tunas province received nine New Holland tractors, six harvesters, three carts, 20 integral crop sprayers, among other pieces of machinery.
Cuban workshops are assembling the equipment and provide technical assistance and maintenance, as part of a process that involves experts from the suppliers and import firms.
In addition, the operators were trained to work with those means in different local agricultural companies.
