Good Results for Tourism in Jardines del Rey

Havana.- Jardines del Rey (King's Gardens), a tourist destination in Cuba with more than 16 hotels and over 6,000 rooms, has reported good results in its operations during the ongoing peak season.

According to preliminary statistics, the hotels have reported an average number of up to 7,000 tourists a day, with 40 weekly flights from several countries.

Experts noted the possibility of handling 50 flights in May with nearly 8,000 vacationers a day.

The main airlines operating in Jardines del Rey are Thomas Cook, (United Kingdom), Air Transat, Canjet, Wesjet, Air Canada and SunWing (Canada), with more than 20 flights a week, Blue Panorama (Italy) and Cubana de Aviación, among others.

Jardines del Rey also handles domestic flights, mainly by Aerocaribean, with excursions to Cienfuegos, Trinidad and La Habana.
