Nature Tourism in Sancti Spiritus
Monday, January 26, 2015

Havana.- Nature tourism, which is gaining ground in Cuba, is being developed in the north and south of the central province of Sancti Spiritus.

Tourism experts highlighted options such as the agri-tourist farm Chalet Los Alamos, in Yaguajay municipality, where conditions exist to practice trekking.

The farm was built as a countryside mansion that attracts tourists, mainly from Canada, Germany and France.

In addition, Rancho Querequeté is in the Buenasvista Biosphere Reserve, where tourists can go horseback riding and trekking, and watch birds.

Sancti Spiritus also holds Topes de Collantes, which is some 800 meters above sea level and is a required reference for nature tourism.
