Cuba to Host Women's Handball Pan-American Championship |

Havana.- Cuba will host the Women's Handball Pan-American Championship, scheduled for the first semester of 2015.
Cuban experts pointed out that the event is of major importance, as it will grant three slots for the world tournament late this year.
The Cuban team will participate in the North, Central American and Caribbean Tournament in February and in the Games of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas (ALBA).
Cuba's goal is to qualify at the Pan-American Games in Toronto, Canada, for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2016.
In the continental games, the Cuban team is expected to reach the finals and play for the title against Brazil, on a road where they will have to play against Argentina as well.
