Cuban Female Cyclists Excel at World Cup |

Havana.- Cuba's best female cyclists gave an outstanding performance at the third and last stage of the World Cup held in Cali, Colombia.
On behalf of Cuba, Marlies Mejías finished fourth in the omnium and fourth in the ranking.
She also finished eighth in the speed race by teams and 12th in the team pursue event, in which she competed with Yumari González, Arlenis Sierra and Yudelmis Domínguez.
For her part, Lisandra Guerra finished among the top ten in the keirin event with 172 points, and eighth in the individual speed race.
All three stages of the World Cycling Cup grant points for the world championship in Paris, France, in February, and the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2016.
