Theater Crusade in Eastern Cuba |

Havana.- A new edition of the cultural project known as Guantanamo-Baracoa Theater Crusade will take place in the mountainous areas of eastern Cuba to take culture to local communities.
On this occasion, the initiative involves a dozen foreign and national groups, which will perform in some 200 rural communities.
It is worth mentioning that in 2014, the tour included 15 new settlements and the group performed in 207 communities in 33 days, accounting for an average of six performances a day.
The crusade also involves amateur artistic groups formed in mountainous regions as a result of theater workshops.
The Guantanamo-Baracoa Theater Crusade, which was granted the National Community Culture Award, was founded in 1990 and is headed by the companies Guiñol, La Barca, Ríos and Dramático.
