Cuba Calls Annual Healthcare Award Contest |

Havana.- Cuba called the 2015 edition of the Annual Healthcare Award Contest, as part of a strategy to foster scientific research.
According to organizers, physicians, dentists, psychologists, nurses, health technologists, pharmacists, biochemists, biologists, engineers and economists were invited to participate in the contest.
On this occasion, the issues on debate are primary health care, mother-child health, sexual and reproductive health, senior citizens and occupational health.
Other topics are transmissible diseases, non-transmissible chronic diseases, disabilities and development of physical and mental abilities in children.
The contest focuses in the following categories: Scientific Theory, Basic Research, Applied Research, Technological Innovation, Scientific Work in Medical Education, Research on Healthcare Systems and Services, Scientific Articles and Books.
