High Quality of Cuban Restaurant Acknowledged |

Havana.- The restaurant-bar El Floridita, in the Cuban capital, received the Collective Leading Quality Award as an acknowledgement of its excellent services.
The award in the Individual Category, which is granted by the Ministry of Tourism and the sector's guild, went to Humberto Domenech, a waiter at El Floridita.
In 2014, the restaurant received the Five Forks category, a high acknowledgement granted by Cuba's tourism authorities.
In 1953, the magazine Esquire named El Floridita one of the best seven bars in the world and in 1992, the American Academy of Sciences choose the establishment among the best specialized restaurants serving fish and seafood.
El Floridita is known worldwide as "The Cradle of Daiquiri", an alcoholic cocktail that is highly demanded by foreign and Cuban visitors.
