Nicaragua's Hotel Sector Grows |

Managua.- Nicaragua's hotel sector has grown steadily from 529 hotels in 2009 to 873 establishments last year.
Among the latest inaugurations is the 114-room Holiday Inn Express Hotel, and a 140-room Hyatt Place establishment that will be opened soon.
According to experts, the sector's growth results, among other factors, from the country's economic and political stability at present.
In addition, authorities are evaluating the tourist potential in several destinations, especially in San Juan del Sur and Chinandega.
Officials from the Associations of Hotels of Nicaragua noted that the country must increase its presence in the US market and further promote Nicaragua's tourist options in Brazil.
