Cuban Player Osleni Guerrero Wins Continental Badminton Event |

Havana.- Osleni Guerrero, Cuba's best badminton player, won the gold medal at the 19th Pan-American Championship of that sport, held in Canada.
Guerrero defended the title he won in the 2013 edition of the event, and defeated US player Bjorn Seguin in the gold-medal game with a score of 19-21, 21-14 and 21-13.
That way, the best player in the American continent added 5,000 points to his personal score in the world ranking, where he holds the 56th place.
In Canada, Guerrero defeated players Mathew Lee, from Jamaica, and Mario Cuba, from Peru.
In the competitions prior to the final, Guerrero also beat Guatemala's Kevin Cordon with a score of 21-13 and 25-23, and Howard Shu, from the United States.
