Cuba to Host Specialized Forum on Neonatal Care |

Havana.- Cuban healthcare system will host a specialized forum on neonatal care in Cienfuegos and Havana in early November.
The meeting will be attended by professors from six countries who will take part in theoretical and practical workshops on the risks to be considered at delivery rooms and neonatal intensive care units.
According to Cuban experts, pediatricians from several regions of the country are expected to attend the meeting.
In cases of multiple fetuses as a result of infertility treatments, the delivery of small babies under 1,500 grams of weight is quite common.
Participants in the event will discuss topics such as resuscitation, ventilation, hemodynamic and nutritional support, infections and nursing care.
