Cuban Company Gains Ground in Africa |

Havana.- The Cuban company Labiofam, which produces biopharmaceutical and chemical products, is gaining ground in Africa.
The firm signed a memorandum of understanding with the Forum for Agricultural Development in Africa (FARA) to establish a strategic alliance.
The scheme of cooperation covers such fields as biological products, agricultural research, promotion and adaptation of technologies, among others.
In addition, Labiofam plans to increase agricultural productivity to foster food and nutritional sovereignty, human wellbeing and the reduction of poverty in Africa.
The agreement also deals about information on new technologies and innovations in agriculture, in addition to the exchange of entrepreneurial delegations.
