Cuba's Sport Sector in the New School Year
Monday, September 15, 2014

Havana.- The new school year in the centers of Cuba's National Sports, Physical Education and Recreation Institute (INDER) opened with an enrollment of 10,000 students.

According to experts, the number of students increased in the schools that train physical education professors in order to meet the existing demand.

As part of the process of modernization, the Sport Initiation Schools (EIDE) and Athletic Improvement Schools (ESPA) were merged.

Regarding the staff in charge of training the students, 252 doctors and more than 10 masters certify the scientific level of those schools.

The main school materials are guaranteed, as well as the sport uniforms for first-year and undergraduate students majoring in physical education.
