Hotel in Eastern Cuba Wins International Award |

Havana.- The Royalton Hotel, in the eastern Cuban city of Bayamo, won the 2014 HolidayCheck Award, as an acknowledgement of its exceptional services and hospitality.
The hotel, which belongs to the hotel chain Islazul, offers 33 rooms and such facilities as restaurant, lobby bar and cybercafé, among other options.
In addition, it has a privileged location in downtown Bayamo, one of the seven villages founded by the Spanish conquistadors in Cuba.
In fact, it was the second village founded by Governor Diego Velázquez on November 5, 1513, with the name of San Salvador de Bayamo.
According to experts, the 2014 HolidayCheck Award took into consideration the opinions and recommendations of more than 980,000 hoteliers.
