Cuba to Host Forum on Sports Medicine |

Havana.- Cuba will host the meeting of the medical commission of the International Judo Federation on October 10-11.
The meeting is an acknowledgement of Cuba's work in that sport, which was described as excellent during the Grand Prix held in Havana in June.
According to organizers, the meeting's agenda includes issues liked to medical logistics at international events and the fight against doping.
During the Grand Prix in Havana, 26 doping tests were made at the Cuban laboratory, which was internationally certified to perform that kind of test.
The meeting will coincide with the 1st International Symposium on Medical Control, Psychology and Rehabilitation in High-Performance Sports, sponsored by the Cuban Sports Medicine Institute.
