Two Million Foreign Tourists Visit Cuba |

Havana.- Two million foreign tourists visited Cuba from January to July, according to local authorities.
In the first seven months of this year, Cuba reported an increase in tourist arrivals from Canada, Germany, France, Italy and Spain.
In order to create conditions to meet the growth of the tourism industry, new hotels have been inaugurated in Havana, Varadero, Cayo Santa María, Jardines del Rey and Holguín.
In addition, in the first semester of 2014, tourist arrivals increased 3.9 percent compared to the same period last year.
Canada remains Cuba's major tourist-sending market with 181,269 vacationers in the first six months of the year, followed by the United Kingdom, Germany, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Venezuela, Russia, Argentina and Colombia.
