Havana.- Cuba's healthcare system has benefited from an application for cell phones that use the Android operating system.
The National List of Medications is the first project of this kind in the country and is aimed at medical professionals.
The application complements the work of experts from the Editorial Committee of the National List of Medications of Cuba, which is available in a printed edition and on line.
The program consists of search engines in alphabetical order, pharmacological category, presentation and side effects of medications, among other options.
It also contains a list of medicinal plants with their descriptions, origin, curative properties and other uses.
