Cuba to Host Nature Photo Contest |

Havana.- Topes de Collantes, in central Cuba, will host the 3rd Nature Photo Contest in September.
The event, organized by Grupo de Turismo Gaviota S.A., will take advantage of the local natural landscape, which holds more than 45 percent of endemic species reported in the Cuban archipelago.
According to organizers, the event will allow participants to submit up to three photos in the following categories: landscape, flora and fauna, man and nature, and macro-photography.
On this occasion, the jury will be presided over by Julio Larramendi, a renowned professional photographer in Cuba and abroad, and made up of other prestigious photographers and experts in biodiversity.
Participants will walk on trails such as La Batata, Codina, Caburní, Vegas Grandes, El Nicho, Camino de la Barbera, Guanayara, El Cubano and Gruta Nengoa.
