South American Tourists Express Interest in Cuba |

Havana.- Cuban tourist authorities are weighing the options to increase the number of vacationers from the Southern Cone who will visit the Caribbean island.
Attention is focused on Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay, which are Cuba's traditional tourist-sending markets in the region.
Until May 2014, 74,538 tourists have traveled to Cuba from those countries, an increase in contrast to the same period last year.
The strategy also aims to increase the number of flights by the Ecuadorian airline TAME and Colombia's Avianca.
Moreover, the advertising campaign Authentic Cuba will be launched in all six markets.
