Cuban Medication Gains Ground on International Market
Monday, July 28, 2014

Havana.- The Cuban medication Policosanol (PPG), made from a mixture of primary sugarcane alcohols, is gaining ground on the international market.

According to Cuban experts, PPG is commercialized in more than 30 countries and is included in the basic chart of medications in Cuba.

PPG has proved to be highly effective to treat high cholesterol level in blood and cerebral-vascular and cardiovascular diseases in senior citizens.

In addition, it has been highly effective in adults, as it contributes to reducing vascular accidents and increases energy and vitality, among other benefits.

PPG also stimulates the capacity for physical activity and does not create muscular mass, so it differs from other products that are banned in the world of sports.
