Mexico Reports More Tourist Revenues |

Mexico.- Mexico's economy reported more than seven billion dollars in tourist revenues in the first five months of 2014.
According to the central bank of Mexico, that result accounts for a 16-percent increase compared to the same period last year.
In addition, tourist arrivals increased considerably by 19.2 percent, to 11.7 million vacationers.
Six million visitors arrived by plane, accounting for an 11-percent increase in contrast to January to May 2013, while border tourism grew 34 percent.
The institution added that the average expenditure per tourist was 872 dollars, representing an increase of 8.8 percent.
