Cuban Women's Basketball Team to Compete in Centrobasquet Tournament |

Havana.- The Cuban women's basketball team will compete in the Centrobasquet Tournament, which will grant slots for the Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz, Mexico.
The event, to be held in Monterrey, will grant seven slots for the regional competition, in addition to four other places for the Pan-American Games in Toronto in 2015.
The Cuban team will play in Pool B, along with El Salvador, the US Virgin Islands and Jamaica. The latter was the champion after defeating the Dominican Republic.
Pool A includes México, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
The Cuban team will be made up of Oyanisis Gelis, Isneidis Casanova, Arlenis Romero, Anisleidis Galindo, Leidis Oquendo, Francis Ochoa, Marlene Cepeda, Clenia Noblet, Suchitel Ávila and Yamara Amargo, all of whom participated in the Americas qualifier in 2013.
