Septeto Santiaguero Prepares New CD |

Havana.- The group Septeto Santiaguero, which plays Cuban traditional music, is preparing a new CD entitled "No Quiero Llanto. Un Tributo a Los Compadres".
The CD pays tribute to one of the most outstanding duets in the history of Cuban popular music in its two stages: the first one with Lorenzo Hierrezuelo and Francisco Repilado (Compay Segundo) and the second one with Lorenzo and his brother Reinaldo.
The record also acknowledges the work of emblematic groups and singers such as Conjunto Matamoros, La Sonora Matancera, María Teresa Vera, El Cuarteto Patria, La Vieja Trova Santiaguera and Buena Vista Social Club.
The album contains 18 songs and features Eliades Ochoa, Oscar D'León, Andy Montañez, Aymee Nuviola, Tiburón Morales, Alejandro Almenares and Orfeón Santiago.
