Poetry Festival in Cuba |

Havana.- Cuba will hold in May the 17th International Poetry Festival, an important cultural event in the country.
The activities of the festival will start in the eastern province of Guantánamo, traveling across the country to Havana.
According to the organizers, the festival will be dedicated to women and young people, apart from bringing poetry closer to readers.
The program of the event includes a forum named “Poesía y acción ciudadana: mujeres en la hora actual” (Poetry and Citizens´ Action: Women´s Current Role) with the participation of Cuban and foreign poetesses.
In addition, young people will have the opportunity to take part in an event called “Arte Soy” (Art, I am) which will be held at the José Martí Cultural Society, the José Martí Wood, La Madriguera, the Pavellón Cuba exhibition hall and the Dulce María Loynaz Cultural Center.
