Cuban Bio-Factory Supports Agricultural Production |

Havana.- The Cuban agricultural sector benefits from a modern bio-factory, located in the province of Ciego de Avila, which produces Fitomás-E for sugarcane plantations.
In the test process, the plant produced 334,000 liters of the abovementioned bio-stimulating agent, as a result of investments close to three million pesos.
The plant, owned by the entrepreneurial group Azcuba, manufactures the substance from dry torula yeast which is used as raw material.
The formula benefits the growth of about 20 crops since, apart from sugarcane plantations it is used in fruits, grains, tuber plants, tobacco and vegetables.
The main objective for this initial year is to produce 2.8 million liters of Fitomás-E for plantations located in central and eastern Cuban provinces.
