Fertilizer Production Increases in Cuba |

Havana.- The Rayonitro Company, in the western province of Matanzas, works to increase granulated fertilizer delivery for the domestic market.
According to specialists, an investment to reach an annual production of 150,000 tons of the fertilizer, which is highly demanded by the agricultural sector, is being evaluated.
The company´s plans include, among other actions, improvements in storing conditions of raw materials and fertilizers, and the recuperation of the work force with experience in the sector.
This year´s plan involves delivering 50,000 tons of the product, which is highly demanded by the agricultural sector.
Rayonitro workers have been able to stabilize the fertilizer production and expect to meet the company´s commitments.
